  24.   You must not setup the modem to answer the modem automatically. The S0
  25.   register holds the number of rings before answering - this should be set to
  26.   0, then Terminate rather than the modem will answer for you.
  27.   When Terminate gets the ring-string (RING), the answer-string (ATA) will be
  28.   sent and Terminate waits for a carrier.
